Southern Interventional Pain Center in Thomasville, Georgia, and Lake City and Tallahassee, Florida, is a pain management practice that provides comprehensive pain care for patients. Max Shokat, D.O. is a dual board-certified physician who specializes in the non-operative treatment for the spine, joints, muscles, and nerve pain.
The practice offers pain management services that include treatments for arthritis, back and neck pain, sciatica, joint pain, and neuropathy. Dr. Shokat offers platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and bone marrow aspirate concentrate (BMAC) injections, self-pay options for selected spine, joint and tendon conditions. He also offers spinal cord stimulation for chronic back pain, leg pain and neuropathy.
